Call To Action!

Hello everyone,

I want to thank all the many volunteers whom so generously gave of their time to help my family and I in one of the most important times in our lives. This all would not be possible without you all working together to give us this wonderful opportunity for a better future. My heart fills with Joy as I look back through the pictures of all the wonderful people that were there for us in this time of need. I am putting out a call for action as there are still many things unfinished at the house and the dedication ceremony is 2 weeks away and Christmas 2 days after. My family and I really wanted to be in our house for Christmas. I know how busy everyone is this time of year and if you do have any extra time it would be greatly appreciated. Many, Whom have volunteered in the past have come back to give more help. Thank you so much. Even an hr or two is a great help and means so much to my family. I will be updating this post with a list of things that need to be done and when they can be done.

Plumber - hook up sewage system to house hook up bathrooms ect... - Dec 9th morning
Electrician - Hook up electricity and lighting ect... - Dec 10th
Enbridge Gas - Heating system -
Water gets turned on -
Kitchen instalation - Dec 10th -11
Trim - around remaining windows and doors. - Dec 9 - 10 - 11
All baseboards. - Dec 9 -10 -11
filling all nail holes and trim with puddy - Dec 9-10
Painting doors and trim - Dec9 -10
Back StairsSiding on front of house - Saturday Dec 13
Roof over front deck - Dec 13
Shelves in pantry - Dec 9 - 10
Closet doors - Dec 13
Remaining doors - Dec 9th
Basement levelled Saturday Dec 13
Concrete poured in basement and driveway Dec 17th
Painting - Touch ups mostly Dec 9 - 13
Moving lumber -
Cleaning - Everything - Everyday from 3:00 to 5:00

A Few items on Sunday

Today John Thomson came to the house for the day to help.

We got the closet doors started
Put on some trim and baseboards
Did a lot of painting

Today the boys put on doors, trim, finished the closets and installed some shelving. Still a lot of stuff going on in the basement too.

Irving Equipment / John Boudreau

The Boys where at the house today working in the freezing cole. What an amazing job they did today. We now have stairs on the front deck along with the roof over the deck almost finished. The back deck is completly inclosed with beautiful railings. Thank you so much for all your hard work today. Amazing job guys!!

Girls Night Cleaning Crew

Saturday evening 2 of my good friends Angela Ross and Allie Wickens-Diaz and I went to the house to clean. We had a great time. Thank you so much for being there on Saturday it means a lot to me. I have never had so much fun cleaning!

Board of Directors Work Meeting

This evening we had a work meeting at the house. We put some trim on the windows and put a vanity together along with making plans for the remainder of the build term.
