We want to give a big thanks to my cousin Jason who put a lot of items together for me. If it wasnt for him I am sure I would not have it all together now. BBQ, Patio Table, Bar Stools, Trunk and Table. I am sure I am missing some. He also fixed up a bunch of stuff around the house. Thank you so much Jason for all your hard work. You are truly a Jack of all trades.

Vapour Barrier - Tobias Properties Inc.

Today we finished the vapour barrier. Thank you sooo much to Paul Tobias who finished what we started in a few hrs. It was great working with you. Paul also ploughed my driveway. Thank you Paul. Very much appreciated.

Today Grace beukeveld and I started the vapour barrier. Thanks you for everything today Grace I dont' know what I would have done without you. lol You know what I mean! Thanks as well for going to pick up all the supplies needed for the day. Very much appreciated. My Brother Robert Galbraith Jr. and Father Robert Galbraith stopped down to help for a few hrs as well. Thank you all for your help! Great Job!! It was fun!!

Studding and Insulation - Happy Valentines Day!

Today we had a wonderful group of people whom spent their Valentines Day with us Putting up Studds and Insulation in the basement. We also had others doing stuff all over the house. We are so very appreciative of your time on this special day. You all did a terrific job. It looks great. Thank you!

Today a group of wonderful volunteers from the Habitat Restore spent the day at the house cleaning and finishing up many different items that needed attention. The house looks amazing great job guys. Thank you!

STUDDING BASEMENT WALL

This evening volunteers put the studs up for the basement wall for the laundry room so we could get them hooked up. Thank you so much for your hard work!

Electrician's

Today the kids and I met the Electricians Dave Ryan and Dave Ryan Jr. at the house they did a lot of work completely wired up the rest of the house, did a lot of work in the basement. Great Job guys! That was a lot of work. Thank you for taking care of getting the power hooked up later that week. These guys are amazing at the house for 8:00 on Saturdays to volunteer. They have spent a lot of time on this house.

MC VENTILATION LTD.

E-ZEE GAS SERVICES / Hydro has been started!

Today owner Ed Zelward and employee Blair from E-ZEE GAS SERVICES started the installation of the heating system donated from Enbridge Gas.
Dave Richards and Hector Lamprea from Fundy Engineering joined them to discuss where is was going and how the whole process was going to be carried out.

I went up to the house today to do some painting and clean up. I would not have been able to do this if it wasn't for Suzanne Kingston and Howard LaBillois for taking such great care of my children for me.
I just want to say Thank you to them for being such great neighbours, friends and support to my children and I. Suzanne came over to help with the painting as well. It was nice to have the company. I also want to mention that Suzanne and Howard have been sending out letters to others whom may also like to help. Thank you so much for all you have done for us.
My good friend Cindy Caissey-Vautour came over to help with the house today as well. Thanks to her we can now see our floor, and out our windows. Thank you for being such a great friend. We even had a visit from her husband Denny and daughter Marlyanna thanks for stopping by, just a visit from friends and family helps me to keep a positive attitude and makes the work seem that much easier and more fun.

Thank you All for making my day, a happier and more positive one.

CBC News Cast on Volunteers!

CBC recently did an interview with Angela Trecartin, on the volunteering that took place through the build of this years build. She had organized well over 100 volunteers to spend a day working on the house. Thank you Angela all the xerox employees did a phenomenal job! Take a look at the story.

Basement Cement has been Poured

I went to the house today for the first time since the Dedication Ceremony and found the cement had been poured along with many other items finished.
